rffada Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the rffada are:

  1. To provide support to establish diagnostic centres in major centres across Australia
  2. To assist in the education and training of health and allied health workers, students, teachers and educators, social, welfare, youth and substance abuse workers, criminal justice professionals, parents and carers, employment services personnel and other people in key positions to fully understand the implications of prenatal exposure to alcohol
  3. To identify, support, educate and care for birth mothers using a “no blame no shame” ethos
  4. To assist the rffada partners to achieve their aims and objectives in the prevention, education and support of people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and their families
